Thoughts on the Atonement

My first PhD seminar this fall at Fuller will be with Oliver Crisp (my supervisor) on the doctrine of the atonement. I am super excited and have been getting started on the reading (pictured right). Some miscellaneous thoughts thus far: 1) I am struck by how important the doctrine of atonement is to the Christian faith. It lies at the very heart of the gospel.
